It's as if we took conventional burner technology
and turned it completely inside out... and eventually upside down!

As the name implies, our 'inward fired burner' is a metal matrix surface burner configured into an inward firing ring. Firing within itself, the burner requires no combustion chamber, which means cooler combustion and lower NOx. On our 2 million Btu boilers, the burner produces only 15 ppm NOx. On our 1.5 million Btu boilers, it's 10 ppm. Modulate down to low fire and it's 7 ppm.

The burner technology is also incredibly stable and capable of a 20-to-1 turndown.

The IFB is featured as a down-fired burner on our Centauri Plus, Centauri and VT.3 boilers with inputs from 1.5 to 2 million BTU.
